It wasn’t a shocker to hear that the Academy gang of elitist left wing snobs selected Al Gore’s propaganda piece, “An Inconvenient Truth” for one of their inconsequential awards. It is not the first time that they and the entertainment industry have promoted their politics, nor will it be the last. As long as they can con the public into thinking a documentary is truthful and valid by giving it one of their nonsense awards, they have done their bit to deceive for their cause.
We saw that a couple of years back with Michael Moore’s award for his “documentary” which has been proven wrong point by point by several authorities. Apparently, the Academy did not mention they value camera tricks and suggestive filmmaking. There are several papers written on his film, try "Fifty-nine Deceits in Fahrenheit 911" by David Kopel

http://www.davekopel.org/terror/59Deceits.pdf Putting aside the fact that there are two sides to the global warming madness and the fact that this same sort of madness was consuming us in the late 70’s with the scare that we were experiencing global freezing, there is the utter hypocrisy of Mr. Gore’s scare tactic doom and gloom message. .
http://www.wsws.org/articles/2006/jul2006/gore-j15.shtmlThe fact the Al Gore travels from state to state and into other countries by private jet (while warning the average American that their SUV’s are something to be ashamed of), the man owns four homes. Just one of his four estates uses 20 times the energy of the average American family. The average family uses 11kw to his 221kw – and his energy bill for last year was a hair over $30,000.00.
The hypocrisy is common in Hollywood and with big stars. For example, Barbara Streisand uses more energy in her enormous barn by using air conditioning in it than most of us use the entire month for our homes.
The shameful thing is that the average American only gets the hype generated by these clowns (and other elite) and rarely even have the time to check facts or learn about the hero’s being made by media; you know, those “do as I say and not as I am entitled to do and do” gang. Hurray for Hollywood!
